Edukasi Layanan Financial Kepada Ibu-Ibu Gereja Mission Batak Dalam Upaya Menghindari Jerat Utang

Abstract

Community service activities carried out at the Mission Batak Church of the Evangelical Post (Pos PI) Mapilindo Medan with the theme of financial services in an effort to avoid debt bondage. The activity which was attended by 20 Housewives in March 2023 aims to provide knowledge and increase understanding of Church Congregational Women in managing family finances and have knowledge of application-based financial services so that the ultimate goal is to avoid debt traps. The method used is to provide counseling and interactive discussions. Before being given counseling, all participants did not know how to manage family finances and also did not have knowledge of application-based financial services including almost all having debt in the household. After the activity ended, the women of the congregation had gained knowledge and understood how to manage simple family finances and understood application-based financial services and efforts to avoid debt traps that might occur due to ignorance in using the application
